The things we love about Washington Township are its proximity to Philadelphia and the city life and museums, Phildelphia Zoo, and the Jersey shore. There is a park in Washington Township that provides walking trails and activities including concerts, movie nights, wine festivals and food truck/music festivals. The public school system is also wonderful.

Our neighborhood has been a wonderful place to raise a family. The neighbors are friendly and support one another if needed. Everyone keeps their properties maintained which also adds value to the neighborhood.

Where do you love to eat?
We enjoy dining out at a variety of restaurants in Philadelphia, Ocean City, and locally. Some of our favorite restaurants include Maplewood, Lamp Post and Scarpinatos.

Grocery stores and other conveniences…
There are a variety of grocery stores within the Washington Township area. In addition, there are several farmer’s markets that offer fresh produce and bakery items. Duffield’s Farm Market also offers activities for the children (i.e., pumpkin picking, strawberry picking, visiting the Easter Bunny, etc.)

What were you drawn to when you bought the property?
When we bought the property we were drawn to the quiet, dead end street. But what sold us was the family room, kitchen and dining room areas, it was like the icing on the cake. And having 2 full bathrooms.

What do you love about the area?
We love South Jersey because it is centrally located between Philadelphia and New York and the shore. It offers employment, has low crime rates, and several education options.
